Taanishi, Hello, my name is Katie Tolley— I'm a proud Métis woman from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, now making my home in Warman with my partner and our little fur family: three cats (Chip, Ripley, and Orangie) and our dog Rosie. By day, I’m a Health Promotion Coordinator with Métis Nation Saskatchewan and a PhD student in Public Health, pursuing research that I’m deeply passionate about. My work and studies are incredibly important to me, but they can be demanding, so I’ve always turned to creative projects as a way to unwind.That's how Designs by Katie came to be. I’ve always enjoyed making things with my hands, and over time, that grew into creating stickers, bookmarks, and other handmade designs.
